Document Description
The project proposes to upgrade the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) communication system from a serial radio network to an Ethernet based wireless network. The project will improve communication between various LVMWD facilities in order to provide reliable water, wastewater, and recycled water services to customers. All upgrades will be done within the existing footprint of various LVMWD facilities. Existing antennas and masts will be replaced with new antennas and lattice masts of equal or lesser height, although some will increase in height. There will be no adverse aesthetic or environmental effects from the antennas that will increase in height.
