Document Description
This public works project consists of the construction of two accessible campsites and other limited public access improvements (e.g., restrooms, picnic tables) at Ramirez Canyon Park. Two accessible campsites (compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act [ADA] and associated regulations/guidelines) with related signage would be constructed within an existing fenced garden area. This area would include a decomposed granite surface and accessible ramp, shade structure, picnic tables, water fountain, sink, and planting of native trees. An accessible double restroom would replace existing porta potties. An accessible single restroom and picnic tables are proposed at the north end of the Park. Sewer, water, and electricity lines are proposed. The new sewer lines placed in existing pathways would connect to the existing onsite wastewater treatment system at the park. Wildlife-permeable, post and rail fences with gates would be constructed.
