Document Description
Using only State funds, the California Department of Transportation, (Caltrans), will replace two 72" diameter culverts on (SR) 299 just east of the Community of Old Shasta County. These two culverts, were damaged during high water from a heavy winter storm. The work will entail diverting water to one culvert while the other is being replaced. Once the culverts are replaced, rock slope protection (RSP) will be installed on the banks and in the channel at both the inlets and outlets.
