Document Description
The proposed project consists of maintaining the front of the existing Nevada Irrigation District (District) Deer Creek Diversion Inlet Structure on Deer Creek in Nevada County, CA. The coordinates of the diversion are 120.8405097957 W, 39.298601963 N. The Deer Creek diversion structure diverts water from Deer Creek into the Upper Cascade Canal Pipeline which eventually leads to the Banner Cascade Pipeline. The project consists of the District maintaining the front of the inlet structure by utilizing a backhoe to remove floating debris build up from in front of the inlet structure. Maintenance activities will occur outside of Deer Creek from on top of a concrete pad that is located in front of the four inlets.
