Document Description
The project involves on-going training of Rancho Adobe Fire District and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) personnel in the proper procedures of firing techniques to control wildland fires. The project area is 1 acre of grassland within the 3 acre Rancho Adobe Fire Station Number 3 property, west of Petaluma California. The project area is entirely within State Responsibility Area, is zoned as ranch land and used for grazing of cattle Cal Fire Type 3 engines, bulldozers and numerous local government engines will be used for the training burn and will be present for all burning activities.
