Document Description
The Project consists of repairing an eroded section of the left bank abutment of the existing bridge by: installing two tie backs at the upstream and downstream end of the abutment, setting #9 rebar into existing bedrock along the bank, installing steel posts approximately every three feet along the side of the channel, and attaching fence fabric to the posts to create a barrier between the channel and the eroding abutment. The area between the fence and the abutment will then be filled with rip-rap. In addition, the eroding, concrete low-water crossing just downstream of the bridge will be removed and replaced with reinforce concrete at the same location and elevatioin as the existing, eroding crossing. Work will occur when no water is in the channel, and no vegetation will be removed.
