Document Description
The project involves the replacement of a culvert along Royal Gorge Trail. The existing 30 in diameter X 24 ft culvert will be replaced with a 30 in X 80 ft culvert. The additional length provided by the new culvert will help prevent blockage and damage from road activity. The culvert is associated with an un-vegetated ephemeral drainage and only minimal impacts will occur on the project site. Less than five cubic yards off native soils will be impacted. Best management practices will be employed to prevent silt from entering the ephemeral drainage.
