Document Description
The purpose of this project is trail and habitat restoration at two past restoration sites in the Tule Lake Area within the lower ranch of Hollister Hills SVRA. Project activities will include the removal of previous soil stabilization and sediment control Best Management Practices (BMPs), installation of new BMPs, and native propagation. The area encompassing the two restoration sites have been closed to OHV riding since 1997. Previous restoration efforts consisted of: trail closure, tread repair, terraced berms, fiber roll installations, and placement of erosion control blankets (ECBs) covered by hydro mulch.
