Document Description
The prupose of the Holmes Camp Ramada and Fire Ring Upgrade project is to enhance public safety by limiiting open space for riding wihin the campground staging area. Project activities will include the replacement of twenty-six (26) fire rings and the relocation of every other ramada (6) along the eastern tree line to the center of the Holmes Camp camping area in an approximate linear manner associated with the existing bathrooms. The project will allow for the slowing of vehicles in a heavily populated area by placing campsites in the paths of travel and will distribute the campers throughout the area instead of clustering them in one area allowing for bigger groups and less stress on the natural environment.
