Document Description
The project consists of a CUP to allow a scrap metal recycling feeder yard facility, including the construction of a new office building and a truck scale and the utilization of two existing warehouse/storage buildings. Scrap metal materials, including steel, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and lead would be brought to the site and sorted, packaged, and shipped to end users or to the applicant's (Alco Iron & Metal Company) primary facility in San Leandro, CA. The 7.9 gross acre site is located on the north side of Pullman Way and southwest of the terminus of Pullman Way and Daylight Way, approximately 600 feet southwest of Monterey Highway, in south San Jose (111 Pullman Way and 2915 Daylight Way; APNs 455-24-061, 081, 003, 069).
