Document Description
CUP and Operating Agreement for a digital freeway sign at the Sports Complex project site (APN 069-0130-008, -017). Activities at this location will include conversion of an existing traditional billboard to a digital freeway sign. The conversion will rely upon the existing billboard sign structure, covering the existing pole in decorative cladding, and changing out the existing sign faces to smaller, digital display areas (see Figure 4). The sign will not move in an east/west direction nor will it get any closer to Highway 50. Additionally, the existing electronic sign located on the site's monument sign will be removed. As required by the Zoning Code standards regulating digital freeway signs, the project will also include removal of a traditional billboard located at the southeast corner of Folsom Boulevard and Zinfandel Drive.
