Document Description
This project will increase habitat complexity in a reach of Gilliam Creek, a tributary to East Austin Creek in Sonoma County, by using 64 pieces of large wood to construct 24 large wood structures, to provide more instream cover and high-flow refugia for coho salmon, and enhance pool scour. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0204-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Brendan O'Neil, California State Parks.
