Document Description
The project is limited to implementing the Project to improve spawning and rearing habitat by increasing habitat diversity, reducing fine sediment and improving riparian canopy for coho salmon and steelhead in a selected section of Larson Creek, tributary to San Geronimo Creek in Marin County. The goal of this project is to restore a bank along Larson Creek near Hole #11 of the San Geronimo Golf Course, applying bioengineering techniques, large woody debris structures, and native vegetation to benefit coho salmon and steelhead as described in Grant P1230405 San Geronimo Golf Course Bank Stabilization Project. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0072-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Todd Steiner, Salmon Protection and Watershed Network.
