Document Description
Note: Review per lead SOCWA proposes to construct a Sludge Equalization Basin (EQB) at the Coastal Treatment Plant (CTP) to extend sludge holding time and truck loading capability at the CTP by serving as the wet well for the new sludge export pump station and as emergency storage in the case of a pump or force main failure. The EQB is planned to be a circular reinforced concrete tank with a storage volume of 154,000 gallons. Associated facilities, including a masonry electrical building, sludge export pump, mixing/truck loading pump, and a ferric chloride pump, would be constructed.
