Document Description
Note: Shorten Review The Fire Mountain Lodge Hydroelectric Relicensing and Dam Safety Repairs (Project) involves the continued operation of a small existing hydroelectric facility, dam repairs, and installation of a spillway. The dam is earth and concrete filled, and dam safety repairs include the concrete resurfacing of the dam face and outfall and installation of a concrete lined open channel spillway. Conditions of the water quality certification for the Project include stabilization of the adjacent unpaved Project road to reduce erosion, installation of flow measurements devices, and minimum stream flow requirements. The Fire Mountain Hydroelectric Project is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Minor License No. 1992). The power generated by the Project is used for commercial and residential purposes, solely for the owners of the Fire Mountain Lodge.
