Document Description
CDFW is issuing a Streambed Alteration Agreement for the construction of an approximately 20 megawatts (MW) alternating current photovoltaic (PV) modules on approximately 130 acres of the 152-acre site. The Project is designed to have a useful life of 20 to 30 years. The Project includes the construction of six (6) detention basins to manage the increase in runoff volume during storm events that results from the minor increase in imperviousness. Additional features such as swales and graded diversion ditches would be included as needed in the design to ensure no significant adverse effects on off-site flow patterns with project implementation and also to mitigate the drainage impacts of the development. The site contains two braided ephemeral drainages and multiple smaller, less developed channels within these drainages. These smaller channels would be filled and flows redirected to larger more complex channels that would be preserved in their natural state; approximately 180,000 cubic yards of cut/fill: balanced onsite. The new channel will require routine maintenance activities, which may include the repair of replacement of rip rap, clearing of vegetation and siltation, grading, or excavation and any severe damage caused by flooding, natural disaster, or a catastrophic event. Riparian vegetation/special status species would not be affected as none are present.
