This proposal entails the drilling of an exploratory petroleum oil and natural gas well on a1.62 acre (70,500 square feet) portion of a 160.00-acre parcel. If exploratory drilling is not successful, the well will be plugged and abandoned in compliance with the California Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, and Gas and Geothermal Resources regulations. If oil and/or gas are discovered, a production facility will be established on the project site, and a secondary exploratory well may be drilled on the project site utilizing directional drilling techniques.
