Document Description
This proposed project involves the construction of a residential housing with up to 350 single family dwellings on portions of a 126.89 acre parcel on the western edge of the City of Taft.
Project will permanently remove 90.33 acres of San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica) and San Joaquin antelope squirrel (Ammospermophilus nelsoni) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of San Joaquin kit fox and San Joaquin antelope squirrel, designated as threatened species under CESA. The ITP Minor Amendment No. 2 referenced above as issued by CDFW updates the Contact Person and contact information, includes the option to use a qualified biological monitor, and modifies the fencing used for exclusion and changes barbed wire fencing to slick wire fencing.
