Document Description
The project involves the establishment of a surface heliport at the existing Desert Valley Hospital Medical Campus. The proposed helipad is sited on a vacant 1.23 acre parcel of land on the east side of the campus located approximately 150 feet north of existing Bear Valley Road improvements and approximately 200 feet east of the existing 2-story Medical Office Building. The 8 inch thick concrete helipad will measure 56 feet in length and depth with a finish surface 8 feet above the current ground level. The project location has been previously disturbed and is void of any native vegetation. The site is flat with a gravel base and was previously used as an area for construction office trailers during a recent expansion of the hospital.
