Document Description
Unauthorized grading was conducted by the Permittee along approximately 1/2 mile of Gay Creek resulting in impacts to approximately 5 acres of riparian habitat. DFG issued a Letter of Violation and since the Permittee has been working cooperatively to resolve the violation and develop plans to mitigate the damage. Those plans include these three components: 1) successful revegetation of disturbed portions of the site; 2) removal and control of large woody invasive species (trees); and 3) routine maintenance of the stream channel to allow unhindered passage of water through the Permittee's property, reducing the risk of flooding adjacent properties.
