Document Description
The project shall excavate an approximately 20-foot long, 10-foot wide trench to expose an existing natural gas line for inspection. A portion of the gas pipeline is located under an approximately 3 to 4-foot wide and 2-foot deep ephemeral drainage. The project excavation, access and staging areas are within agricultural lands and an unpaved agricultural road. The total work area is estimated to be approximately 13,500 square feet (0.31 acres). The pipeline may be repaired or replaced if corrosion or anomalies are discovered during the inspection. All work shall occur when there is low or no flow in the channel. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-00294-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
