Document Description
The project shall trim or remove vegetation at four locations where underground gas pipelines are located at watercourse crossings. All woody vegetation within 4 feet of the centerline of the gas pipeline will be trimmed or removed to within 6 inches of ground level to allow gas pipeline leak surveys. The gas pipeline surveys are conducted by air and by foot 1-2 times per year. To control the regrowth of the woody vegetation, herbicide will initially be applied as a cut stump treatment;during subsequent years, the herbicide will be applied as a a foliar spray.
