Document Description
The three (3) private water systems that serve the Lacey Court Mobile Home Park, the Hamblin Subdivision and the Four Seasons Mobile Home Park are currently in violation of recently enacted State and Federal Requirements for maximum levels of arsenic in potable water greater than 10 ug/l. Costs to replace the aging wells and delivery equipment would be beyond the means of the rate payers connected to the systems. Therefore, consolidation with the City of Hanford is considered the most economical means to solve the water quality issue also having the benefit of being a reliable water source and delivering additional water for fire protection.
