Document Description
The Project is located within the Legal Delta (northern) in Steamboat Slough. The Sanchez Farm water diversion is located on the east bank of Steamboat Slough, approximately 4 miles west of Walnut Grove. The Project involves installing a California Department of Fish and Game and National Marine Fisheries Service approved fish screen on an existing unscreened irrigation pump. The new fish screen, intake adapter, docking inlet, and retrieval track will be supported by six piles. Two of the six support piles will be installed below the ordinary high water mark. Piles will be installed with a vibratory hammer attached to a crane located on the levee.
