Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to perform maintenance dredging at Dock #9 and #11 at the Port of Stockton's East Complex in order to restore safe navigable depths for ship traffic. Dredge activities will be accomplished using a 2,000-horsepower hydraulic dredge. The hydraulic dredge will use a pinning, toothed cutterhead to dislodge material along the bottom of the channel. The dislodged material will be drawn into an 18-inch-diameter tube connected to a hydraulic pump.
