Document Description
The Del Lago Transit Center is currently under construction to add bus bays and additional parking to an existing park and ride facility. This project would include the construction of three electric vehicle charges (one DC Fast Charger and two Level 2 Chargers) in the northwest corner of the parking lot. Each charger would service two parking spaces each (including one space with ADA access). The carging units would be mounted to the ground on concrete pads. A photovoltaic canopy would cover the spaces to generate solar power for the charging units. The canopy would measure approximately 40 x 80 feet and stand approximately 12 feet high. An energy storage battery and supporting infrastructure would be enclosed in an approximately 20 x 30 foot structure (nine feet in height).
