Document Description
The purpose of the project is to provide up to date training opportunities for army personnel and to provide for the implementation of a portion of the Fort Hunter Liggett range complex master plan and the Fort Hunter Liggett real property master plan. The proposed gun range would be used to train the test soldiers in combat.
The project proposes to add 220 targets to an existing firing range and includes the following activites: road and target pad construction; creating two cuts in seasonal wetland to tie in constructed drainage channels; improving low-flow crossing; and constructing a concrete culvert crossing with associated rip-rap aprons.
