Document Description
This proposed project involves the construction, operation, and decommissioning of a 100-megawatt photovoltaic solar power-generating facility. The project was originally part of the project as described in ITP No. 2081-2015-026-04 The project includes a 677-acre solar site, an up to 2.0-mile long, 36.36-acre gen-tie corridor in which a maximum of 6.7 acres will be disturbed and repaving of 0.5 miles of access road (Munsey Rd) for a total project area of 715.16 acres. The project will result in permanent and temporary impacts to 683.7 acres of flow to moderate desert tortoise and Mojave ground squirrel habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of desert tortoise and Mojave ground squirrel, which are designated as threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act.
