The project proponent is requesting approval of CUP to allow for the construction and operation of a native and imported water recharge, recovery and transport facility along with a 1,008 megawatt photovoltaic facility and associated infrastructure including an estimated 3.6 million PV solar modules, transmission lines and towers, interior collection and supply power lines, switchgear pads, above-ground water tanks, meteorological towers, and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) buildings on approximately 4,806 acres of undeveloped and previously disturbed land in the A and A-1 zones.
