Document Description
The Project is limited to the widening and stream bank restoration of Aliso Creek, upstream of the Trabuco Road, and will repair the incised banks to ease erosive forces during storm events. Three sets of double boulder cross veins will be placed in the streambed consisting of strategically placed, partially embedded boulders across the stream channel that are intended to reduce the amount of localized erosion and collect beneficial sediments to restore the elevation of the incised creek bed. In combination with boulder placement, the toe of bank will be planted with native vegetation to protect against erosion.
