Bridge maintenance activities include: maintenance of stream bed, bank, and channel in the immediate vicinity of the bridge; repair of concrete bridge elements within the channel (spalled and cracked wingwalls, abutments, piers, girders and underside of deck); and cleaning and painting of steel bridge members.
