Document Description
Develop two adjoining group camps at McArthur-Burney Falls MSP. This project is intended to enhance the visitor experience by providing additional camping opportunities for groups. These camps (capacity 25 & 75 campers), will share an adjoining parking lot, combination shower/restroom building, and approximately 850 feet of new hardened trails. Each site will have a covered cooking area, campfire pit and picnic tables.

Construction or installation of limited numbers of park facilites such as kiosks, restrooms, parking lots, interpretive panels, fencing and gates, signs, above ground tanks, mobile home pads, utility connections, camp-host sites, tent cabins, concessionaire structures, and boat launching facilities. Minor alterations of park land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry and agricultural purposes and include projects such as; trail construction, realignment, or removal, special events, filming, resource management project, stewardship projects, and prescribed burns to restore native vegetation, reduce fuel load, or to control exotic invasive species.
