Document Description
Three complex wood jams (CWJ) at each of two 100-foot long project sites will be constructed using a total of 60 pieces of large wood. Two-ton boulders will be incorporated into the CWJs. Willow posts and transplants will be incorporated into the CWJs and the stream banks to accelerate riparian revegetation. Dense strands of exotic reed canary grass (0.1 acres) will be scalped and removed from the point bars directly across from the eroding stream banks at each project site.
