Document Description
The purpose of the project is for the operatin of the Edgerly Island Dredge Disposal Site. The Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is the local sponsor for the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Napa Control and Water Conservation District is the local sponsor is required to maintain suitable dredge disposal sites. Edgerly Island has been maintained as a dredge disposal site since 1981 and use periodically by the Corps. The Edgerly Island site has a capacity of 330,000 cubic yards and will be used as a dredge disposal location for upcoming dredge cycle of the Napa River. Operations of the site consist of temporarily placing dredge spoils inside the leveed spoil area, hauling material off site for permanent disposal at appropriate sites, minor grading, and maintenanc3e of drainage infrastructure.
