Document Description
Sierra Nevada Conservancy grant funded project to enhance and protect preserved lands surrounding the Bear River watershed. Goals are to reduce fuel loading while enhancing wildlife corridors. Our objectives are to create more fire resilient landscapes surrounding WUI zones.

Reasons for Exemption
It is benefitting and enhancing wildlife while reducing fire severity and enhancing wildlife corridors and browse. There are no ground disturbing heavy equipment and we'll be using chain saws and hand piling all material. WE will be pile burning to remove the material and have already been approved with Placer County AQMD.
