Document Description
The San Joaquin River Conservancy will collaborate with the Local Conservation Corps to install two solar-powered automatic gates, one at the entrance toSpano and one at the entrance to Sycamore Island. These gates will provide security to protect public resources including park, recreational, cultural, fish and wildlife, riparian, and river resources. The project will also construct three shade structures on the Sycamore Island to protect Park visitors from the harsh sun the high temperatures common in the San Joaquin Valley.
