Document Description
The project would renovate the 324 bed Hitch Suites (76,200 gsf) undergraduate residential complex, with no expansion of beds or population, and replace the existing 1-story 1,300 gsf service building with a 4,700 gsf (net 3,400 gsf) commons building to better serve the residents of the complex. The project also includes alterations to surface Parking Lot 11, which would provide a fire truck turnaround and two full- and two-mini basketball courts; relocation of fire hydrants; installation of sport court surfaces, retaining walls, site ramps, stairs, fences and gates; and installation of lighting, drinking fountains, and signage. Development of the baketball courts would remove 88 unassigned/vacant parking spaces in Lot 11; leaving 367 spaces available.
