Document Description
Four pothole excavations will be conducted to acquire confirmation data related to the location of the existing 12-in natural gas pipeline. Additional excavations may be required if the first four do not generate the required data. The Corps also proposes seven pothole excations near the upstream end of the project reach near Lathrop Way to obtain information on the location and alignment of a 12-inch water pipeline. Potholing will be carried out using a vacuum truck to minimize damage to the utility. Each hole, up to 10-ft deep would be backfilled and compacted. Excess material will be hauled offsite.
