Document Description
The project shall excavate an approximately 14-foot long, 20-foot wide and 15-foot deep trench to expose an existing natural gas line for inspection. The project excavation and staging areas are entirely within the cloverleaf of the Caltrans Highway 101 3rd Avenue off ramp. The total excavation is estimated at approximately 280 square feet (0.006 acres), of which approximately 70 square feet (0.0016 acres) will be below top of bank. The pipeline may be repaired or replaced if corrosion or anomalies area discovered during the inspection. All excavation work shall occur above the wetted channel. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0337-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
