Document Description
The Long Canyon Dispersed Campground Improvement Project includes designating for authorized travel two very short (380 feet total) existing but unauthorized roads that provide access to a dispersed camping and parking area, installing a pre-fabricated vault toilet to provide sanitation facilities for this area, and constructing road drainage structures to reduce erosion on Road 14N08A. The project also includes installing barrier rocks that would camping areas. The barrier rocks would prevent further soil compaction, destruction of vegetation, seidmentation into the creek, and damage to heritage resources. The project also includes installing aggregate base rock to an existing non-motorized trail that accesses Long Canyon Creek. Dead Hazard trees would be removed.
