Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA #1600-2012-0085-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permittee. Southern California Edison Co. Permittee proposes to replace part of the Lee Vining -Poole 115 KV tranmission line. To conduct the project, Permittee will hand excavate two 3-foot wide by nine-foot deep holes immediately adjacent to each existing pole. A helicopter will insert one steel caisson into each hole and the new 75-foot wooden poles will be placed into each caisson. The space between each caisson and wooden pole will be filled with approximately 1.4 cubic yards of 0.5-1.0-inch rock or soil. The conductors will then be transferred from the deteriorated structure to the new structure and the deteriorated structure to the new structure and the deteriorated structure swill be removed via holicopter.
