Document Description
Using only State funds, Caltrans will install a series of cross highway under-drains at four locations of SR 97 in the Mt. Hebron area of Siskiyou County (see Pg 2 for specific locations). Excavations for the drains will be approx. 1 ft. deep and 6-8 inches wide. At locations, 1 & 4 connector pipes will collect water from several drains and outlet the water at a suitable spot. This project will provide a conveyance for subsurface water to run directly off the highway before it reaches the surface of the pavement.
