Document Description
Under the new Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) license (FERC No. 2101) for the Upper American River Project (UARP), the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) will increase the streamflow releases at all UARP dams in order to enhance habitat conditions for native fish. To monitor discharge of streamflow releases from the dams, SMUD maintains a number of weirs throughout the UARP, pursuant to applicable U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) standards.
