Document Description
The project will replace approximately 500 feet of waterline from two tanks located approximately 400 feet to the norht of the Saratoga Summit Forest Fire Station. a trench from each tank will be excavated to a meeting point approximately 60 feet below the tanks where the two lines will join. At this point a single trench will be excavated along the remaining distance, tying into the water supply lines of the station located near the gas pumps. The trenches will be approximately 18-24 inches wide and 24 inches deep; excavated primarily with a backhoe but supplemented by CAL FIRE hand crews as needed.
