Document Description
Since Upper Llagas Creek has flooded San Martin, Morgan Hill, and surrounding communities repeatedly, as documented between 1937 and 2011, the purpose of the Project is to manage flood risk by modifying the Upper Llagas Creek, West Little Llagas Creek, and East Little Llagas Creek channels. On West Little Llagas Creek the 100-year flood flow would be contained through Morgan Hill, and on East Little Llagas Creek, approximately the 10 year flood would be contained.
