- Document Description
- Request to develop a 180,000 square foot warehouse facility or receiving, sorting, storing, packaging, and shipping of agricultural produce grown on the site and on other agricultural property owned and operated by applicant. The project also includes the conversion of a dwelling to an office, development of an employee break room with restrooms building, a 110-space employee and visitor parkng lot, a 12-space truck parking lot, one vehicle emergency access driveway, an employee access driveway, a signalized main driveway onto North Washington Road, a centralized septic system, an on-site storm drainage basin, an existing private domestic well and a proposed additional domestic well. The project is proposed to de deveoped in four phases as follows: Phase 1 (2019) - Conversion of an existing 996 square foot dwelling into an office, along with the development of a 7-space parking lot and access driveway onto North Washington Rd. The ownder requests to utilize the site, prior to the development of the warehouse, for normal agricultural field receiving, sorting and shipping of the owner's produce grown on the project site and from other applicant-owned properties. Phase 2(2024) - partial development of the warehouse facility - with the construction of a 300 foot wide by 200 foot long, 30 foot high, building for processing and storing agricultural produce; Phase 3 (2029) - development of a 300-foot by 400-foot concrete slab west of the processing building for the sorting, packinf, storage and shipping of agricultural produce. Phase 4 (2034) - development of a 300-foot wide by 400-foot long by 30-foot high roof only structure over the concrete slab constructed in Phase 3 for sorting, storing, packing and shipping of agricultural produce.
