Document Description
This is a request to establish an agricultural warehouse for the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of sweet potatoes and watermelons on 74+\- acres. There will be no retail sales except for a proposed produce stand. Access will be taken off of Fulkerth Road, except for the office which will use Washington Road. The project will use a 5,500 sf pole barn, 1,200 sf office (converted from a house), and 8,424 sf bran for the operation. In the future, a 180,000 sf warehouse is proposed in three phases to be completed by 2019. The operation is seasonal, June through October, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with 60 employees on a maximum shift and 10 employees on a minimum shift.
