Document Description
Request for a revised Reclamation Plan and 20 year surface mining Use Permit including a 14 acre expansion (for a total area of 87.8 acres) and Zone Change to MR (Mineral Resources Combining District), and allowance to excavate the existing pit (now at 120 feet above mean sea level (MSL)) to a final quarry floor 80 feet MSL. The proposal includes the relocation of the operations plant to be positioned approximately 500 feet south of the existing plant. Requested operation levels are as follows: a maximum 480,000 tons of mining; 100,000 tons/yr of imported recycled materials; and 20,000 tons/yr of other imported materials for a total of 600,000 tons of annual sales. The project does not result in any changes to the quarry's vested production rights.
