Document Description
Request for a Major Modification to CUP 5086 for the redesign and continued operation of an existing communications facility located on an existing water tank, operated by T-Mobile. The existing water tank will be removed and a new faux elm tree will be constructed within the water tank footprint. The faux elm tree will be 28 feet tall and will have antennas for T-Mobile (LU11-0053) and Sprint (LU11-0054) facilities. The T-Mobile facility will have three sectors with two antennas per sector, for a total of six antennas. The top of the T-Mobile antennas will be 23 feet and 6 inches high. The T-Mobile facility includes two existing equipment cabinets, and a new equipment cabinet will be added for a total of three cabinets. The water tank site is currently surrounded by a six foot tall chainlink fence topped with barbed wire. The fence will remain in the same location. The facility will be unmanned and will not require water. The proposed project also includes a temporary site during demolition of the existing facilities and construction of the redesigned facilities. The location of the temporary site will vary so as to not interfere with the demolition and construction activities.
