Document Description
The proposed Pitchess Detention Center (PDC) Women's Village Project would involve the partial demolition and redevelopment of approximately 21 acres of the 2,624 acre County-owned PDC for the construction of a 1,156-bed low- to medium security, rehabilitation-based, female inmate detention facility with a 26-bed medical clinic and appurtenant facilities, a parking garage, and the possible expansion of the existing cogeneration/central plant located off-site immediately to the southeast of the proposed Project.
